And its people like these which reduce any productive discussion into
person1: youre stupid
person2: no youre stupid
person1: no youre stupid
… i cant trust people to not hurt themselves with safety scissors.
And they are all having kids and buying guns. ha
My Fable 3 character
I dont even own a gun…but it doesnt make sense why people get charged as criminals for this
They break into my home… They suffer the consequences of their choice. I’m pro-choice like that.
ive always wanted to get an 870 shotgun with 2 less lethal rounds first, and 2 flechette. If someone breaks in, they get warned. If violent they get shot with less lethal ammunition. that should be enough. 2 is over doing it. 3 is literally over kill. Cops are coming either way.
scenario 1 = peacefully leave -> they run, cops might get them
scenario 2 = try become violent -> rubber bullets will stop them
scenario 3 = if they intend to kill after 2 -> i tried (life or death) 3rd round
I would try to get away, avoid killing, and give them a chance. Until they exhaust my non/less-lethal options.
……WHATS SAD IS I HAVE SEVERAL GREAT GUYS I GAME WITH AND THEYA RE SWEETHEARTS AND NOT THE ASSHOLES WHO MAKE FUN OF FEMALE GAMERS
AND I ONCE DID THIS AND OMG I WAS LIKE COVERED WITH AMO AND I LAUGHED ALL
'AWW YEEEA MY MAN WHORES KNOW HOW TO KEEP MAMA HAPPY'
AND I SWEAR THEY LAUGHED SO MUCH ONCE CHOKED ON A CIGARETTE LKSDHFLHK
At first I thought this was going to be one of those “gamer girl” posts about how “girls suck at video games lolzor” and I was like ugh, running out of ammo is a normal thing it doesn’t make you bad gamer and being a girl doesn’t make you a bad gamer. THEN I SAW THE REST OF THE GIF OMF
I have Fable and Dark Souls experience that corroborate this behavior.
Im a Guy who plays on XboxLive.
When playing Fable 3, I was trying to collect all the weapons for an achievement. The game forces players to trade with each other since different players have a better chance of getting specific weapons. My avatar was a guy and my character was female, but she looked very male (my character always accidentally look like lesbians.) As a result no one wanted to help me, I was just another random dude asking for help with a manly looking character. So i unplugged my Mic, plugged in a Key Board, changed my Avatar to Female, and made my character look pretty. It had previously taken me a week to get a few of the weapons i needed. After going full female, it took about 2 days to get everything. People became extremely willing to help. I could literally Stand still under the Bowerstone Clock Tower, leave my xbox on, and come back to 50+ presents.
In Dark Souls I had found out about a Duplication Glitch, but it required you to have 100 of the item before you could Dup it. So I thought, “it would take a hundred play through to get it all, so why not ask people for everything.” I started invading in the Kiln, the last area of the game, in Thorn Armor, which was very male/intimidating looking. Everyone kept killing me and ignoring my messages. So I changed my avatar again to Female and dressed my character in Maiden Clothes to look female. Got everything in 1 day.
Not saying women have it easy playing video games, but you do have the ability to pull very productive strings if you wish to. Its one of a few reasons most of my characters are female and why I try to keep my gender a secret. Being friendly, as I normally am, will have people automatically assume I’m female. ha, and they will go uncorrected.
Learning more about myself through Shakespeare
For my third snow day snowthing to do, I decided to do some character research for Jacques from Shakespeare’s As You Like It. I’m really excited for this role, because I’m playing as a straight up idiot or clown in this play.
Based on the plays I’ve done so far, I’m always cast as either a scared weakling, silly old man, or very unlikely hero in comedies.
Though As You Like It is still a comedy, I’m playing a character whom at first glance is not a strictly a clown. As I was reading a cold read of Jacques, I was thinking to myself, “huh, this guy has alot to say about the world.” A Melancholy Philosopher!! I have yet to play a philosopher or someone who is melancholy all the time. I was really excited about in the beginning.
stupid first world problem.
"he set out to prove a point about how easy women have it"
the sad/funny bit is that he was a dude from 4chan. knowing that the second he closes the window on his computer, the craziness stops. but through his test found out that it didnt stop, it had never stopped, it was all around him but never quite in his direction.
If anyone doesnt know, He is Shinji.
and the whole show is a giant metaphor for how the world looks to a child
Anonymous asked: Evangelion wasn't even that great to be honest, it was just really hyped up and is usually someone's first "edgy" anime so they love it to bits
if you use “edgy” in any part of your argument chances are you’re making baseless assumptions
I used to have a similar opinion as Anonymous. Watched the anime and it just pissed me off, “Shinji get in the fucking robot” then the ending seemed like a bad attempt at being philosophically deep. But then I saw the shows creator go to a school and talk about it and started paying attention to fans who kept track of all the differences between the show, movies, and manga. There is a lot more happening then a first time viewer would ever pick up on.
